Varia Radar and Audio Prompts

Been using the radar with my 520 for a year, and it's always worked very well. Recently switched to the 820 and I'm using the navigation audio alerts (paired with iPhone/GC mobile), but unfortunately the radar alerts are not transmitted through the phone app. I find the alerts from the 820 are difficult to hear, especially when I'm getting audio alerts via an earpiece.

Anyone know of a way to have the radar alerts also transmit with the other audio prompts into the earpiece (via GC app)?

    AND must have iOS 13 or above. Hard cheese if you use an older phone for a head unit.

    Took my Android 6 Marshmellow, though.

    Did you figure out why the Edge unit was not making beeps with an approaching car? I’ve the same problem with my Edge Explorer; just started to research why.

    I have a first generation Edge 1000.  I believe that is the issue with mine.  It may beep when a car approaches, but it is so faint, I could never hear it outside when testing.  The Varia app on my phone solves the issue since I never ride without my phone.  It also does not seem to use a lot of battery power on my phone.

    I have the same issue with my new Edge 830, radar alert beeps are often too low to be heard...so I run RidewithGPS in my iPhone (11, and in a jersey pocket)) and the alerts are loud and clear with the volume up.  The Varia can be paired to RWGPS in the RWGPS settings manu...
