Need Ability to Disable Vibration

The vibration in the Varia Vision is, to me, jarring. I’d very much like to be able to disable it.

I looked though all the pages of the settings for the Varia Vision, so I don’t think this ability currently exists. If I missed it, please let me know.

Does Garmin have some means by which customers can make feature requests?

Vibration on Varia Vision + other Garmin Kit

The vibration in the Varia Vision is, to me, jarring.

I am sorry that you find the Vibration facility jarring on the Varia Vision, unfortunately the following will not resolve your problem.
Have have you tried the Contact Us page>Contact Support>[not immediately obvious link] My question is not about a product, but do not hold your breath whilst awaiting an outcome.

I have hearing difficulties, and probably reduced sensitivity generally, and would probably welcome the situation that you are experiencing.
Before my kit was stolen I never experienced any audible warnings sent by the Rear View Radar to my Edge 1000.
Unfortunately it is a similar tale when it comes to noticing Vibrations from the Vivoactive HR Watch. The Vibrations are so weak that they are not detected whilst cycling. The only way I can detect any Vibrations, when not cycling, is to grip the Watch Body between finger and thumb in the Strap Mount areas. Clearly not much use when cycling.

There seems to be very little recorded about the functionality of Vibration facility on the Varia Vision, and any input will be most welcome regarding the use and functionality of this facility.

I intend to repurchase Varia Vision to specifically work with a Rear View Radar and so will be particularly interested to learn if this combination will deliver a reliable indication that a vehicle approaching from the rear has been detected.
If Varia Vision fails to function satisfactorily it will be returned. The Rear View Radar functions well as an Always On Rear Light that does offer advanced warning to drivers approaching from the rear, albeit at considerable expense.

Across the Garmin Cycling Range, with the exception of Audio and Vibration, facilities seem to function well.
Garmin need to either step up to the plate or stop advertising as Safety Features functionality that is not satisfactory whilst cycling in the real world.
With the exception of the Vivoactive HR Watch, the only Garmin item not stolen, I am about to replace my Garmin Kit, perhaps it is time to move to another brand?
