Varia RTL 500 and Forerunner 735XT

I just got a new Varia RTL 500 and I paired it without any problem with the 735 (the symbol is present on the screen on the right side).
I went for a ride but I did not get any signal from car approaching me.

I am also using speed and cadence sensors and they are working very well.

How can I fix the problem?
Is there anyone experiencing the same problem?

Check that the software on the RTL is up to date. What build is on there now?

You use Garmin Express. The FR735 should also show what version the sensor is running under the sensor details. The latest build is 3.40.

I suspect the unit you was manufactured before this release so has an older build on it.
