Suggesting two new modes for the Varia Lights

I was thinking about two new modes:
  • Group = Sets the front light to the lowest setting, and sets the rear lights to low.
  • Standby = Set all the lights to standby mode while you are talking a long break, would return to Auto after resuming the ride.

  • I agree with these two additional options. I am missing this at Varia rear Radar light. That is the only thing that I am waiting for to see if it would/will have. Till then I am still unsurtain of purchase of Varia Radar rear light.

Auto - Sets headlight to flash in day, solid at night (using sunset time on Edge 520). Tail light is solid medium when stopped (and supposed to dim more when you faster...and bright when you brake). Radar is sold light (not flashing). This is what happens with my Garmin 520 (with Beta 6.03 firmware) and Radar/Taillight/Headlight at firmware 2.5.

Standby - There is a "motion activated" feature seems do nothing in the Garmin Edge light network settings. If that worked, I think the that would be a very cool "auto standby".

PS - Auto Deaccelearation (aka brake light) is another feature listed in the settings, but not working.

I find that feature works fine.

I have my TL-300 set to blink and it goes on solid when I decelerate.
