Varia Vision not powering off when plugged in and charging.

Is there a way to turn off the display on the vision when it is connected via USB? It seems to me that having the display running for hours while it charges overnight is unnecessary wear. Is there a setting to tell it to turn off?

A bump for this question. I just got my Varia Vision and am surprised to see that it apparently has to stay on to charge. Is that correct?
