Does anyone have Varia Vision? Reviews?

Given the nature of the product, its difficult to determine the experience of using Varia Vision. If you have one, do you like it? Is the display intrusive? Is it convenient to view in a "heads up" configuration? Is it an improvement over looking down at a head unit? Pros Cons?

Thanks!

    First ride

We i had my first rides with my Varia Vision yesterday. 15km each way commute to work so far i am mixed, i will give it a couple more rides before make a final decision.

On the way to work i had it mounted so the display was low and to the outside, for forward vision this was great but i realized the errors of my ways when i had todo my first head check to cross a lane of traffic, not a fun experience in peak hour traffic when you over shoulder vision is obstructed. On the way home i mounted towards the top, this was much better for my head checks but i did find it a bit more distracting.

As for mounting i am currently wearing them on a pair of Rudy Rydon, which arms are far from flat, I know there are some 3d printed mounts about to make them better but without access to a 3d printer this makes things harder ( and more expensive for what they are). I did find that i was at the limits of the 15 degree twist display, and keep trying to fiddle with it to make the screen a little clearer, i definitely have some time to spend to get the display in the perfect position.

As other people have noticed the vision is a little on the heavy side and i did notice my glasses sliding down, but only slightly.

I also had a little bit of polarization happening with my polarized lenses, this was only on the white day screen and it was only very minor.

On the plus sides, i found that it paired painlessly with my Edge 1000. I also did my second best time home in the dark last night, ( missed my pb by 9 seconds). I mainly attributed this to the Vision. At night i very rarely look down because the Edge is usually dark and i will usually not notice my speed dropping away. The Vision meant that my speed and pacer were readily visible ( i probably spend more time looking at them than i should have).

Anyway I have only done 30km with them but thought i would share.
