Just got the Varia, haven't used it yet, was just setting it up, and have read various negative reviews about the newest firmware. What is the overall recommendation - stick with v2 or upgrade to v2.2?
Well, I ran both for a few rides and it is hard to tell which is better. At first, I thought the v2.00 was better for multiple cars. But then I encountered the disconnect issue with the Edge 1000 so I upgraded to the v2.20.
I am currently on 2.20 and it works quite well. There are times when I get false positives but those I don't mind too much...
