Will the VARIA trigger a car's radar detector (e.g. FuzzBuster, Escort, Valentine)

I have no idea what frequency the Varia transmits on. Does anyone know if it will trigger a radar alert in a standard car radar detector? Maybe if you own a radar detector, you could do a test for us! :)

If it does, that would be an excellent feature!

I try car speed radar K Band 24Ghz
Not detect varia Signal,

Maybe I have to come up Spectrum Analyzer test.

OK, apparently does not trigger K band. Anyone try a detector with Ka or X band?

maybe the 'law-abiding' citizen would slow, but they'd also reach to turn off the alarm. i'm more worried about the distraction than the excess speed.
