Unresponsive unit

Varia 715 battery ran dead and seems to not charge and won't turn on at all. Light flashes green for hours then eventually a solid red light. Can't be right. But unit will not turn on. Holding both buttons will give one red light flash and that's it. Troubleshooting does not give any more options. Anyone had this issue?

You could try

Hard reset RCT715 (8-second press & hold of both buttons)

Hi, that's what I did. 8sec hold and nothing except a single red light flash.

update - seems to have resolved itself when i plugged into laptop to charge instead. Charging with both green lights now flashing and when i unplugged it, it did turn on.
