- My Varia RC715 continuously flashes green whilst charging . Still not fully charged after 10 hours. Is it faulty?
I have the same issue am getting pretty fed up with it as it has been going on for several weeks. It has just been on charge for 24 hours and still the green light flashes. It was taking 10-12 hours to stop flashing but now, as I say, after 24 hours it still flashes. I have tried various leads and sockets all to no avail. Firmware is up to date.
Thank you for sharing. I have sent mine back for a full refund. It’s happened on 2 units and that’s two too many. At nearly £300 this should work first time and every time.
Same here; I filed for a factory warranty. I am disappointed in the overall quality. we will see how this is handled by Garmin.

I arranged with the Seller. Garmin didn't even respond.
I placed mine on the charger 8pm last night it’s now 7:30am Green light still flashing. This is new out the book, because the other rear light would die after 1:20 minutes.
It could be that the charger or the charger cable are not delivering a high enough current for the unit to charge. I've found that some cables have an impedance that is too high to charge some devices.
Also some power blocks or USB port replicators do not support the higher current values supported by USB-C.
