Turning off RCT715 from Edge computer

Is the RCT715 supposed to turn off when connected to an Edge 1040 computer set to automatically turn on/off the lights when starting/stopping a ride. The RCT715 light turns off but there is still a blinking light, as if it’s trying to pair to something, so not Turning off completely. Is this correct, I thought RCT715 should turn off completely by the edge computer?

That is correct. The radar unit is in a low power standby mode waiting to receive a message from the Edge to tell it to fully power up.

What color is the blinking light? That could just be the indication that the RCT is in smart mode (Blue flash). This is what it will show if the light network switches it off. It is left in a low power standby state so that the light network can switch it back on again.

RCT715 is flashing blue, when edge computer is powered off
