New hardware version (rumors on the horizon)

Varia is almost year old, anything on the rumor mill about a next revision coming out? (Age old question, buy now or wait a little)

Got REI rebate, and 20% (trying to figure if varia is allowed..I know Garmin gps is not) about due.

Tried to research if a new revision has been leaked, haven't found much.

I don't see this as a product that Garmin will be putting much resources into as it's far more niche than Edges or Fenixes, so I think it'll be several years between iterations. If the current version meets your needs, I'd say buy it now.

I would like to see a forwards-facing version soon though! (without the radar of course)

Thanks. I did just that. With REI having annual 23%. since there is no GPS that discount applies to the RCT710 . Plus my REI cash back. and some Gift cards I had. I ended up with the RCT710 for just about $50.. so I'm pleased. Maybe the camera is gimmic,but maybe I can have some fun with it also
