Difference between pedal bodies sensing, non-sensing

Hi!

Is it possible to fit a sensor into a non-sensing pedal bodie?

I have the RS100 and about to buy the XC200 but intend to shift the right sensor from XC200 to RS100 to make it XC100 and RS200.

Do I need to buy a sensing pedal bodie for the RS pedals?
