Extremely low 3s power (5-20W) Rally RS 200

Hi there,

I got a brand new RS 200 and after mounting it shows overall very low power e.g. 5-20W for 3s reading on Epix 2. I have been using Vector S for 8 years and I have come across various issues with it hence I did following:

- used 1 supplied washer when mounting

- used torq key

- replaced batteries in both pedals after removing batteries for 30s from pedals

- connected to Garmin app, installed new FW, checked crank lenght, calibrated and reset angles

All the above always worked with Vector S when I encountered a similar issues and felt like an expert. Now I feel lost. Did I miss anything?

Thanks

  • I have the same issue. Extremely low power numbers all of a sudden since 2 weeks. Changed the batteries but no improvement. The pedals are up to date with the most recent updates. So very interested in this answer as well!

  • Hi there, I returned the pedals to Garmin and got a new pair from them still under warranty. No explanation given from them what was wrong. Just wondering how long the new ones will last..

  • Thanks! I contacted their customer service, but I'm afraid my pedals fall outside of the warranty period... hope they have a fix!

  • Happened to me 1.5 year ago out of nowhere, got them replaced by Garmin as they were still within warranty, now 1.5 years later started having the exact same issue but no longer have the warranty. How can such a pricy piece of gear barely last a year reliably? Super upsetting.
