Rally RS100 losing connection during ride

My Rally RS100 has lost the connection to my Edge1040 during my last three rides.

It connects as it should in the beginning but after around 30 min it loses the connection and I'm not able to connect again during the ride.

After finishing and restarting edge I'm able to connect again. Battery status is ok. My rally is basically new.

Anyone else has this problem and maybe has a solution?

Just happened to me 20 miles into a 72-mile ride around Lake Tahoe. Not happy. Garmin Connect indicates battery power for the Rally is good.

This is happening to me often, Pedals are fairly new. Does Garmin have an explanation?

When were the batteries changed last? Can you post the FIT file for a ride where this happened? Did it reconnect automatically?

It happens to me during a ride after I hit Ok for doing pedal calibration before I start the ride.

It does reconnect during the ride, but maybe take more than 30minutes.

A solution is to stop the ride and restart the device. Then you can keep going with the ride and the power meter is working again.
