LED permanent green after update to 4.10

Hello, my left pedal stays permanent green after I tried to update to 4.10. My right pedal is blinking three times green. I'm unable to connect to the pedal via Android, Edge and Fenix. Removing both batteries over the night didn't helped. I have the sad feeling that my pedal died..

Suggestions/help welcome!

When you replaced the batteries, did you install fresh batteries? Or the ones which had already been in the pedals?

From the release notes there was this tidbit:

Changes made from 4.00 to 4.10:

• Fixed issue causing battery status reporting to not work as expected

IMPORTANT: Before installing a software update, Garmin recommends that the batteries be replaced in your Rally pedals if they have not been recently changed. The software update may fail to install if the batteries do not have sufficient life left.

Low batteries might be causing the update to fail leading to the behavior you're seeing.

Hello, I got the right pedal at the beginning of January. While I installed the right pedal I changed the battery in the left pedal. So the left battery was two weeks in use. Thats in my opinion a fresh one. The thing that I don't know is when the battery was manufactured..

Hi,

Exactly the same issue there. Left pedal keeps showing green LED and right one blinking green (searching for other pedal as per Garmin manual).

4.10 update stopped at "waiting for pedal restart" 26%

I don't think that we (the user) can fix the problem, because we have no connection to the left pedal and therefore we are not able to reapply/rollback the firmware. We can just remove/change the battery and the pedal body - that's it.

Tried to remove/change battery. Left pedal LED stays permanent green. While waiting for further instructions from Garmin, I removed both batteries.

Update : Today I plugged my batteries back and by chance it seems to have unlock the issue BUT details of the sensor shows version 4.00. Did the pedals roll back ?

Anyway my pedals work again.
