XC200 calibration failure -1 - Fenix 6 PRO

Every time I go out for a ride I perform the manual calibration of the pedals, and every single time the calibration fails several times with -1 error. After a few tries it calibrates successfully.

Anyone with the same problem?

Any idea of what is the -1 error?

XC200 with 4.0 software, Fenix 6 PRO with 23.10 software version.

Having the exact same problem with my Fenix Pro, its very frustrating. Half the time it works, half the time it doesnt so I have to pull my phone out and use the app

I see it quite a bit as well. I thought it might have to do with the bike moving while it is calibrating....like the position needs to be totally stationary and I was straddling the bike commonly while it calibrated. Being off the bike and it leaning on something seemed to improve the hit rate....but last night it wouldn't complete so I just cancelled it.

Now I have a Edge 1040 and the calibration still fails most of the time. It is always a pain the start of a ride...

Try a "Reset Install Angles" command from your watch (in sensor details) before calibrating.

There isnt an option to reset the install angles on the Fenix watch. I've read you need to do this every time you install them on a different bike - does this mean I need to now buy an Edge computer?

The angle reset was a feature of Vector 1. All models since then will automatically adjust the angle after a short period of ridding.
