Rally 100 on Firmware 4.00 but still tries to update.

I'm on the latest version of Android Garmin Connect (updated in the Google Play store right before typing this).

My Rally 100 pedal, ID: 498202, Model #3578, Serial #3375864346 is on SW Version 4.0.

However,

The Garmin Connect app keeps telling me there is a new firmware available. It will transfer the firmware (fast red/green LED status indicator) to the pedal, the pedal will install the firmware (slow red/green LED status indicator) and then the pedal will reboot. I did this at least 5 times before realizing that I was only reinstalling 4.00 over and over.

Surely this can't be the intended behavior?

I have the same issue with my Rally 200 pedals.

I'm also on Android with latest Garmi Connect App (version 4.58.1).

Can you please try removing the pedals from the app (go to Garmin devices > select the Rally in your list of devices > 3 dots in the upper right > remove) and list of bluetooth devices on the android? Then remove the batteries for ~5 minutes. Force close the app. Reinstall the batteries, and re-add the pedals to the app?

I had to completely reinstall ROM on my phone so I was "forced" to repair pedals, but without removing battery from them. Now update request is gone.

The solution for me was just to delete the Rally 100 from the app and from bluetooth devices, then add it back in the app and no more indication of available update. Version 4.0 is displayed as actual.

Dopo l'aggiornamento ho dissociato il pedale dall'app Garmin Connect e dopo 5 minuti riconnesso, si è riconnesso molto più velocemente della prima volta e non mi chiede più di aggiornare il firmware avendo v.4.00 (ho messo batterie nuove prima di ogni cosa).
