My Rally pedals are talking to me!

I rode with my Rally pedals yesterday, and every couple of minutes I was hearing a message "Average Power nnn". The number varied as I went up and down some inclines. I wear hearing aids, and I could tell the message was coming, because I stopped hearing sounds from around me just before and after the message was delivered.

I read the manual, I looked on my Edge 1030 Plus, and I looked on Garmin Connect on my iPhone, and I don't see an option to activate or turn off this feature. How does it work, and how do I control it?

It's called audio prompts. Look for it on the Edge 1030.

If you go into the Edge 1030 settings within the Connect mobile app, there is a section to control the voice prompts. I turn on voice prompts for navigation and everything else I turn off.
