Rally RS100 pedal won't pair

Just got a single sided (right - does that matter?) Rally RS100 Upgrade pedal. LED flash is correct when awoken (green then red), but neither Garmin Connect (phone) nor Edge 1000 nor Zwift recognises the pedal in either Bluetooth or ANT+ modes. Battery change didn't help.

Is it the rightsidedness that's the problem? Thanks for help/advice. Dean

A single sided system should be the left side pedal. You cannot pair to the right side pedal on its own. The right side pedal needs to talk to a left side pedal.

Only the left side pedal can talk to a head unit or Zwift.
