Hi. It seems to be a general problem with XC pedals and suggested solution by Garmin is here:
How Do I Stop the Squeaking Coming From Rally XC Pedals?
They suggest to lube cleat area... Is it only me…
I tried a couple of different lubes, including the teflon-based that Garmin recommends. It does help for about 25-30 km. I typically do longer routes (>100k) and after the initial 30k, the pedals start…
Problem solved - it's all about the shoe/pedal combination ...
Switching to five ten Kestrel Lace Mountain Bike shoes eliminated what bothered me for such a long time.
Well, it…

There is no such a problem with any other manufactures...
Wow.
You spend a fortune just to get squeaking pedals?
Have you tried to lube your pedals? Did it help?
It would be nice to know.
I had this issue. I sprayed the pedals and my cleats with Silicon dry lube and it is perfect. There are a bunch of online videos of all types of SPD pedals having these types of issues. A little lube seems to do the trick.
I tried a couple of different lubes, including the teflon-based that Garmin recommends. It does help for about 25-30 km. I typically do longer routes (>100k) and after the initial 30k, the pedals start squeaking again, as if the lube got used up already. Very disappointing.
Same problem here. I got the conversion kit for my Vector 3 pedals. All was good until around 250 miles. Thought it might be worn cleats so I swapped to the Garmin cleats that came with the box and no help. I get the squeak on the backstroke while pulling up. Super annoying and annoying to the group I ride with. Click click click. Squeak squeak squeak. Even tried Teflon chain lube which does nothing since the tolerance is off and the click comes from a gap between the cleat and pedal.
Same issue here. Teflon lube helps but only lasts for the already mentioned 30-40km and then starts squeaking again during the ride.
I bet the next generation of Garmin pedals will be even more expensive... Ha ha... 1200 Euros to get squeak squeak....
I would like to get one pair but squeak is one of the worst cyclist nightmare.
Update: After testing different lubes, I started to use Finish Line Pedal and Cleat Lubricant : https://www.bike24.com/p2102215.html
I spray it on the pedals and cleats before the ride and so far it seems to be working. I had a couple of 60+ rides without a problem.
Is this normal for a 1200 EUR pedal set?
