Pairing Vector 3 right side with Rally left side

I have a right side Vector 3 that I want to switch between a left side Vector 3s and a left side Rally 100.

I tried to pair the right side Vector 3 to a Rally 100 and I got three green flashes alternating between left side and right side, but paired pedals have a dot next to the pedal ID in pedal settings in Garmin Connect mobile and I can't calibrate. Riding on the pedals seems to transmit 50% power from left side and nothing from right side. Garmin Connect is reporting version software version 2.3.

Any advice on troubleshooting?

As far as I know you cannot cross pair Vector with Rally. I don't believe Garmin has stated that it is supported.

Hi James,

Cross pairing between Rally and Vector 3 is not supported. The Garmin Connect messaging unfortunately does not indicate that very clearly.

That’s a shame, but at least I can just swap the spindles over and put a Vector spindle in both sides of the XC100
