Low battery level for cadence sensor in a new Rally 100

I have just installed Rally XC100 and paired power and cadence sensor to my Edge 530.

Edge says battery level for the cadence sensor is low/critical.
But battery level for power is ok.

How is this possible?
There are not separate batteries for power and cadence.

  • Maybe you still have an extra cadence sensor on your bike?
I don't remember that my XC200 paired as a power meter AND a cadence sensor. Cadence data should be included in the power data.

  • When did a search for new sensors my Edge found a power sensor and also a new cadence sensor. And I selected both.

I have also a previous cadence sensor, but have disabled it in the Edge.

I will try the Rally tomorrow and see how it works.
If I get cadence data without selecting any of the cadence sensors.
And if not, not see which of the two available sensors I will use.

I have also read the manual, but it says nothing about cadence sensor and battery for it (at least not in the Swedish edition I have).

  • Rally will only show as a power meter when pairing. It will deliver both power and cadence when paired. You must have another sensor that is delivering cadence that is paired and whose battery status is being reported.

That cadence sensor is now redundant  and can be removed from the bike as it will be ignored as the cadence from Rally will take priority over cadence from another source.
