Garmin Edge Explore 2 stuck on software version 5.40

My garmin Edge Explore is stuck on Software version 5.40. I tried reseting it i tried syncing wiht my phone i tried Garmin Express, i tried downloading the GUPDATE and placing it into the Garmin folder still no luck. Any solutions?

Have you tried with Garmin Express? The 1st upgrade after I bought it only worked from there. After that it sometimes works via the Phone app and bluetooth (though it takes sometimes a few nights)

5858184 As flocsy (237419224e814eb7be09ba868d70607f) mentioned, I also recommend plugging your Edge Explore 2 into a computer and syncing it with Garmin Express to see if you're able to update it successfully that way. If you don't already have Garmin Express installed, you can find it here: Download Garmin Express For Your Computer.
