Factory reset doesn't help

USA. 30.23. Been getting the basemap load error, and won't load TopoActive North America East using Garmin Express. Deleted all user data and did a factory reset. No change, still getting the basemap load error and won't load new map. PC has plenty of storage and memory.

Aaarrgghhh.

Thanks for the post, 9647154 . Can you please post a screenshot/picture of the error message you're receiving? I want to be sure we're on the same page for getting this addressed.

Thanks again. Please see the following Support Center article for some troubleshooting steps that should help with getting your maps up to date: Garmin Express Not Working or Giving an Error Message During Updates and Downloads

If after updating you continue to get that same "Failed to get basemap version" message, reply here letting us know. ^DK

Rebooted, ran as admin, same errors

I've got fairly tight security on this PC -- are there URLs I need to whitelist?

Installed Express 7.29.1. Now it'll load 40-50% of the TopoActive before crashing. Whee!

There should be room....
