I am experiencing a frustration with the timer data field on one of my data screens with my Explore 2. I have the data screen set with 2 data fields sharing the top row (Timer & Time of Day) So each data field uses half the screen width. Layout 7-B on the data screen settings.
The timer counts up fine with minutes and seconds but when I reach 1 hour then the hour marker is not visible off the left of the field. The only visible units are still minutes and seconds (seconds are pretty pointless after an hour anyway.)
If I set the timer field up on a single row, filling the full width then I get to see H:M:S format, but I don't want to do that and would rather know if I have been out of 4 hours or 5 hours at any time.
My previous Explore and Touring models did not do this. They simply removed the seconds field at the hour point and just showed H:M.
I imagine I would get the same result with the elapsed time data field also.
Is this a bug? or is there a setting somewhere to resolve this?
