Turn Alert Bug — Notification Stays Too Long After Turn (Firmware 27.14)

On the latest firmware version 27.14 (and possibly earlier versions too), I’ve noticed an annoying issue when navigating a course. The turn notifications appear correctly, but they stay on the screen for about 30 seconds even after I’ve already made the turn.

This blocks useful information and makes it confusing to see exactly where I am at that moment.

    Am I really the only one seeing this? Or is everyone just quietly suffering?

    Experiencing the same. Though, I can't say if it goes away after 30s as I already manually dismiss it after a few seconds to see the course.

    It seems to me that it will last longer than expected

    I tested it yesterday, and there were no issues. Notifications disappeared right after a turn.

    Thanks everyone for the feedback — I double-checked the behavior again, and the issue is definitely there.

    The turn notification disappears as expected only when the map screen is active during navigation.

    However, when you're on other data screens — like HR/time/speed, or the elevation profile — the turn alert stays on screen for a long time even after the turn is completed.

    This makes it hard to follow real-time metrics, and it's distracting, confusing, and interferes with navigation.

    No, I have never used the map screen during navigation. I use speed/elevation etc. data screen and navigation only notifies me.

    Something is wrong on your side. Try delete maps, reset device, download maps.
