Auto zoom function before turn overs

Dear Cyclists,

I have a problem with the auto zoom function if I'm riding a saved route through komoot. In the past if I remember correctly before a turn the map is zoomed in automatically so I could see the right path to going along. After the turn the map always zoomed out...

Do you have any suggestions how can I fix the Problem?

I did not make any changes on my device.

    I am also experiencing the same issue. While using my second bike, which has a speed sensor (though I don't believe that's the root cause), I went off-route. After the device recalculated the route, the Edge Explore 2 completely stopped performing any auto-zoom actions. It stayed permanently at an 800-meter scale, which makes navigation in the city nearly impossible.

    Have you tried reinstall maps + factory reset?

    I did it month ago and it seems like i do not have that problem.

    I did a reinstall and factory reset and tested it today. It did not help..

    Do I understand it correctly that you said it only works properly without the speed sensor?

    The one time it worked was indeed without speed sensor.

    I will test that again soon.

    After v26.18 I hit on this too. Factory reset didn't help. For me auto zoom pop-up screen 200m before turn is ok, but there is big bug indeed with random "auto" zoom out map when you navigate to Saved location. Very annoying and danger in town riding. And even when ride on saved course... 800m scale automatic zoom out. You never know... This "unwanted" zoom out feature is very bad and frustrating.
    Ps: I'm stil on v26.18 (I'm stuck obviously- no new update yet), TopoA. Central Eur. and use speed and HR sensors.

    Just quick update: without speed sensor navigation to Saved location seems to be normal. With sensor -there is unwanted, frustrating auto zoom out in 800m (?) scale strike in. I try this way edge 840 model from my girlfrend too and guess what: the same bug (v27.14).

    Cycled almost 1000 kilometers in Germany with the EE2 + Speedsensor 2. Zooming is set to automatic. Routes created in Komoot.
    At the start, I almost always had to zoom in to 50m. manually. The EE2 stayed there the entire trip until I had to deviate from the route. Then it zoomed out just enough to still see the original route. Pretty handy, actually.
    Once back on the original route, it always returned to the 50m I had chosen.
    Perfect for me. I didn't miss the automatic zooming out on long, straight sections, which the EE2 used to do.
    My wife and I each have an EE2 and were very happy with them on this trip..

    Yes, when you are on created course, screen works as should be. But, for example, when you navigate to the beginning of saved course, main map screen notorious insists zoom out on 800m scale. General problem is not pop up screen in 50m scale before next turn (200m before). This is ok.
