Feature Request - Auto Time-out/Return to Map from the Stop Course Page

For the life of me, I do not understand why the "Stop Course" page does not auto-timeout and return to the map when an activity is in progress.

If you mistakenly tap the screen, the prompt to stop course / report hazard stays on indefinitely. This is completely dumb programming by desk-jockeys in my opinion.

If a person wants to stop the course, they will actively engage with the device to do so because it is a conscious decision; however, if you do not want to and had just accidentally tapped it (or sweat on it), it should time out in 5 secs and go back to the Map. You shouldn't have to tap it again to remove the screen.

All screens should really time out and return when an activity is in progress but let's just get this one fixed.

Cheers.

  • You're right, that's super annoying. Just recently accidentally tapped screen during climb and def wasn't in a mood to fiddle w/ device so it stayed like that for couple hundred meters while I was struggling.
