Garmin Fw 25.25

Hello everyone, unfortunately I have the update to 25.25 and therefore no longer have USB access. Has anyone downgraded to 24.19? Swap files? The JaVaWa software no longer recognizes Edge Explore.

Above all, you are not informed about such a fundamental change before the update. Why is it that you are the only one using MTP?

What do you mean "therefore no longer have USB access"? Does the 25.25 firmware disable the USB port?

It was important to me that the EE2 was recognized in USB mode. This is no longer possible after the update. EE2 no longer appears as a drive but as a virtual folder (device). Programs such as JaVaWa can no longer be used. The transfer of cards, for example, takes place in slow MTP, even slower than USB.

I just checked and I still have USB storage access to it. Are you sure this is not a bug? I noticed that after many updates (from version 9.xx) to 25.xx my Explore 2 was behaving badly. After a factory reset then it was working properly. I recently received 25.25 and it works fine.

Yes. And it mounts its partitions on Linux too.

I still have USB access on Win10 and 25.25 firmware. Did the factory reset after update.

Ah yes I see it now. I can read German and indeed is observing the same thing with 25.25. Apology for the misunderstanding. I can see why this may be a problem for 3rd party applications.
