Route Calculation Error

Garmin Edge (Software v 5.40)

I recently updated to the latest software but this seems to have caused an error, as any attempt to navigate now results in a 'Route Calculation Error' message. Everything worked fine previously and I have changed no settings. The Garmin cycling map is installed and setup exactly as previously. Any ideas how to resolve this or will there be a new update to fix it?

    The last update is 25.24 and not 5.40 ???Thinking try do a hard reset and plug on PC to update.

    @2499487 is talking about the Edge Explore (1). Its latest software version is 5.40, so the question in itself is completely valid, but maybe put in the wrong place. The (English) Garmin forum has no section for the Explore (1) anymore, so putting questions in the Explore 2 section is what people may do in their (desparate?) lookup for help. To make it ridiculous or questionable is not constructive at all and 'not done' in my opinion.

    The German forum still has a section for the Explore (1), so putting the question there may give a bigger chance for some useful answers.

    The only thing that comes up with me is doing a full reset to factory defaults and maybe removing and re-installing the Garmin Cycle Map.

    , first I'm not wizard, when I have a problem I try with all means to explain the problem, and if I have the explore 1 and I post on explore 2 topic...I explain why. On second have a proverb on my country : You only remember saint Barbara when you listen the thunder, and when the thunder go far away you forget immediately saint Barbara.

    This forum is made for help, but seems many people pass by here don't know what is mean help, and when the problem is solved...bye, bye Claus....I'm sorted. I know many of the users on this forum go read this post and don't liked, it's on is right. but what I write here is pure true.

    And for finish is not true my answer not help the user, I no have the explore 1 and I don't know the version he made reference is part of explore 1, I help with my experience and knowledge, and if anyone here on this forum behave the same...this is a better place to come and help.
