I am trying to get my Edge Explore cycling computer to again automatically sync with the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone. Before this problem I would finish a ride, recording it with my Edge Explore cyclometer. I would then leave the Explore powered up, start the Connect app on my iPhone, the phone and the Explore would connect via Bluetooth, and a sync would automatically start, and the ride stats would soon appear on my phone in the Connect app. But for whatever reason the sync no longer occurs when I start the Connect app. It appears the phone and the Explore are connected via Bluetooth but nothing happens. I've tried multiple things to fix this problem: deleted and reloaded the Connect app on my phone, turned off and restarted both the phone and the Explore, tried to initiate a manual sync via the Connect app by pushing on the "chasing arrows circle" icon to the left of the image of the Explore in the upper right hand corner of the home screen (this starts the arrows chasing each other, but no sync takes place. None of these methods have worked. I can only get the ride to show up in Connect by using a USB cable to connect my Explore to my PC, then opening up Garmin Express and initiating a sync. Almost immediately thereafter the ride shows up in Connect on my iPhone. But I want it to work like it used to: automatic sync as soon as I start Connect app on my phone and place it near the Explore. Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated!
