Sending software update endless loop v20.18

New update v21 avail but edge 2 continually states sending software update in a loop. 

Tried through phone app and directly from unit. 

Unit states downloading updates but then fails. 

How to solve this?

    1st: are you sure you want that update? There were a few complaints here lately about the last (maybe two) micro updates.

    2nd: you can always try with Garmin Express, but that has its own risks (sometimes it reorders fields randomly or certain ciq apps disappear)

    Yep, starting to go through the update threads - garmin continues to be its own worst enemy.  They seem to have taken the opposite stance on s/w development from "First, do no harm"

    Finally updated after connecting to Garmin Express (PC).
