Why do my data fields keep reorganising themselves before a ride?

Four time in the last 2 weeks, my main data fields change themselves while the unit is off/charging.I have to stop before I start to put them back where I want them.  What's going on, please?

    At least they are still the fields you added? I reported multiple times, in all 4 Garmin devices I owned in the past 4 years, that sometimes CIQ fields I added, saved disappear. They are switched to a simple timer field. In many cases it doesn't even decrease the counter of the installed ciq fields so on watches where you can only have 2 you can't even reinstall them unless you do a factory reset of the activity.

    At least the fields I added are still there? I’ve had CIQ fields disappear and revert to a simple timer, often without decreasing the counter for the installed fields.

    It’s frustrating to have to reset them every time.
