I don't know which version exactly, but they once copied and pasted the updated log of 1040 to EE2 (beta). Which means at least the ANT+ ability is completely blocked by software.

Garmin created this community so the community helps itself out . Garmin not here to listen the people wishes .

My opinion

Actually it is good. It is good to take a look on Coros Dura, Hammerhead, Wahoo, that has better customer service and less models so they then support all of them.

It's a business decision. They will never add it because they are a business that wants to make money by selling the higher end models. Are you seriously this naive?
