Navigation and connection problems.

I have had the Explore 2 since it launched.  I have had constant problems with it, especially with navigation and connectivity.  I have been using Garmin devices for many years and am familiar with most of the menus and idiosyncrasies.

The unit will work well for a time and suddenly cause a problem.  Last weekend it recorded part of a ride and then stopped recording, unknown to me, I was still getting readings on the screen as if recording but no navigation.  Today it would not sync with Connect, a consistent problem that I went through with Garmin customer service in the past.  A newer problem is it will not indicate the next waypoint during a course ride.

 I have never had these issues with any of my Garmin devices.  My 800 was great, I only changed because it would not support the Varia.  I got the 130+ and it worked great but I wanted a touch screen and went to the Explore 2.  Big mistake, I’m afraid.  I will go back to the 130+ I guess.  I wouldn’t sell the Explore 2 with all the problems I have had with it.
