is there a way to disable Explore2 firmware autoupdate?

because:

1. I don't want the Connect app to use my mobile network data.

2. I don't want to update if I am satisfied with the current version.

You can disable mobile data access in your phone settings, but that won't stop downloads via other means

It's not feasible; I require mobile data during my bikepacking tour. In some countries, data roaming is extremely expensive... so, thanks in advance to Garmin.

Just to clarify that it's a specific phone setting for the Connect App, not a global one.

How does Connect transmit activity data to Strava then? :)

There's no Wi-Fi in the forest, etc.
