Workout plan not appearing

I have a 'workout' in garmin connect app. When I select 'bike ride' on my epix watch it asks if I want to 'do workout'. 

When I click button to start bike ride on edge explore 2 it just starts recording bike ride, no ask if I want to do workout. 

I would like to do this workout via edge explore 2, not via watch. How can I do that?

    Hello, the Explore 2 is not compatible with the workouts feature

    I have the same issue. I bought the Garmin Edge Explore 2 to explore new routes, but now I have to train for a race and I discovered yesterday that "my device is not compatible". It is strange to don't have the possibility to upload biking workouts in a bike computer (especially when it cost 300€) I hope that it will became a new feature in the future software update ;)

    Except that bad/strange point, I am happy with this computer !

    Will this feature ever be available? It is rely disappoing for a brand new computer not to have this. Would love to see in a update soon.
