"off-route" activity profile just gone

Strange... The three default activity profiles are stored on the device as .fit files in 3 different locations:
- ..\Garmin\Sports\ - all .fit files have the current date, so they are recreated from backup or verified at the moment the device gets power-on. This is the actual working location.
- ..\Garmin\Sports\Backups - all .fit files have the date you used the device the last time, for example the day before or more days/weeks in the past.
- ..\Garmin\Debug\Backup - all activity profile .fit files have the date of the last firmware update on the device, in my case 20-dec-2023 (version 19.21).

Because your OFF_ROAD activity profile does not appear, there must be disturbed something caused by the last firmware update. All other functions on the device are working normally and as usual?

Maybe the following steps can restore your lost activity profile?
- power down and restart the device like normal use - suppose you did already (several times?)
- soft reset the device by keeping the power button pressed up to 20 seconds, until the screen goes blank and power-on if needed
- reset the device from the main (hamburger) menu - System / Device Reset / Reset Default Settings (your data are kept alive)
- reset to factory settings - System / Device Reset / Delete Data and Reset Settings (all data are wiped)
- try to get a copy of the latest firmware 19.21 update file GUPDATE.GCD and re-install the update. Place the file in the folder ..\Garmin on the device and restart the unit.
