I had the same problem. Turn off Route Recalculation and put Course Recalculation to Auto Pause. Then restart the device. After that it should not make continuous sound alerts.
Thanks for that ES. Actually it's not the sound I'm bothered about. What concerns me is that after 11 months of riding usually 4 times a week, suddenly I got on this morning's ride messages at the bottom of the screen warning me of sharp bends. I assumed that somehow my Alerts and Prompts settings had changed. But no, all the alerts are off as I originally set them back in August 2022 when I bought my Explore.
By the way, are you recommending restart or Reset? And if restart, do you mean from Sleep or from Power Off? Any advice and thoughts welcome.
If you mean Reset, then that's really a last resort when all else fails, as you lose your settings.
I taught you had sound alert problem. When I say restart I meant turn off the device and turn it on again. I noticed that some settings I changed did not apply until I turned off the device and start it again.
