Music widget doesn't work

although my mobile is successfully paired, I can not control music with the music widget.
I have tried different mobiles and also different players.
Earlier it worked without problems.

Do you have similar problems?
How is it with you?

Is there maybe a bug in the new firmware?

    I had similar problems on my Fenix.
    The problem was on old app on Android phone.
    So I installed app called Pulsar on my phone and after that widget started to work properly.
    Also, Android phones after few month of inactivity removes permissions and put app to sleep, you need to have that in mind ;)

    Which permissions? What app should have been in sleep?

    Since I have tried with two different Android devices and it worked on one earlier, I suspect here rather an error in the Edge Explore 2 and some settings. Or it is a bug in the new firmware.
