New software Edge Explore 2 Version 9.07

- Stll no solution for the annoying Auto Pause persistent huge pause-icon & dimmed screen
- No possibility to add or modify profiles
- No revert to the possibility to choose for 'Smart' data recording or 1 sec interval - 1sec is the fixed default since 7.09
- ...

In the Changelog the item "Added Demo mode" should read "Added Guest Mode" I suppose?

For now disappointed with this update...
But since 8.06 we have Additional Emoji Support - the most urgent need while cycling

Guest mode was already here from the first version I had (5.x).

I agree that the auto pause icon is really annoying when I am stopped and try to use my device !

I couldn't find 'Demo Mode', do you? So I supposed it could be 'Guest mode', which I've overlooked up to now...
I know it was in the Explore (1).

I suggest the demo mode should be the thing after reset when “first” pair.

I have heard that you can swipe the Auto Pause icon away now. Can you try that? (The updated hasn't reached me yet).

Tried it and no, the behavior hasn't changed. After every tap or swipe the pause icon & dimmed screen with yellowish border are coming back.

That's nice!
But can you describe how it works on your Explore 2 because I cannot get it working?
What I did for testing:
- setting is 'Auto Pause' with Custom Speed 5.00 kph (PROFILE (ROAD) / Timer / Custom 5.00)
- setting Timer Start Mode is Manual
- wait for gps fix
- select and 'Ride' a Course from the courses list
- start the timer (bottom right) button
- start cycling
- stop cycling / Auto Pause is activated with big Pause icon, colored border and dimmed screen

Screen returns to normal if you tap or swipe (tested any direction), but in all circumstances the Pause icon & dimmed screen keep coming back after a few seconds.

So where is the difference with your experience? I'm really curious...

mine works as you described. for me it's fine like that.
