Reporting Bugs - Best Way

What is the best way of reporting bugs? When changing fields in Garmin Connect mobile for this device there are two or three bugs I have noticed.

What I usually do is:
1. detailed report (with screenshots if possible) in the forum

2. go to https://support.garmin.com/en-US/ and report it as EMAIL! and include the link to the forum

This has the following advantages:

1. more users see the report and can comment

2. Garmin sees it (just reporting to the forum they won't look at it)

3. because you chose to report by email and not chat you'll get some kind of feedback
