Edge Explore 2 discharging even when it`s switched off (not in Sleep Mode).

Hi Guys,

I have this issue where my Explore 2 discharges even when it`s switched off (not in Sleep Mode).

Recently I fnished my last ride on 28th of December with around 85% of the battery and on 31st of December I had 72% when I switched on the device.

Is that the intended behaviour (illogical) or is my device faulty?

I`m on the latest 7.09 FW version.

How do you switch off the automatic sleep modus?

It's in the Profile settings - bottom row, separate for each profile (3x)

Found it, thank you. My battery drains at an alarming rate even when switched off and it is only about 6 weeks old!

Do you check if the device is really shut down by pressing the power button until the big red "Power Off" bar shows up & tapping that bar?
What you describe is surely not a know flaw of the Explore 2.

Thanks, yes I did check that and only use the Power off red bar. I have now disabled the sleep mode and I will see how it fares.

IT was not clear to me that there was a difference between and Power Off. I do Power Off every time now and have not had significant problems with the battery draining.
