ANt+ Power meter connection?

not finding SRM Power meter didn’t think I’d need to buy a 1040 as don’t need many of the metrics…..

You may need to wait for a software update. The Edge Explore 2 and the Edge 1040 use the same ANT chip. The 1040 just released software build 14.50 that included a connectivity fix for some sensors. I think you will need to wait until the Explore 2 has pulled that fix in. The 1040 release fixed my SRM connectivity issues.

Turns out it hadn’t updated when all connected via mobile App

so needed to update to v6.05 software using Garmin express and cable connection and bingo we have power data!
