Heading not showing

I have an Edge Explore which has worked well. Just got Edge Explore 2 which I have used for a few rides. The heading on my screen does not work. It is just blank. I got out my old Edge explore , turned it on and heading data field shows up immediately. Any idea why field would not be working on my Edge explore 2?

The device needs a GPS fix to show the heading in the data field. Just tried it on my EE2 with software 5.09. Without GPS fix the Heading field remains empty.

Try moving your post to the forum Edge Explore 2 - Cycling - Garmin Forums - you have a better chance there that someone familiar with the device answers. Click More under your opening post, select Move and move it to the right forum.
