low battery warning

Do have an alert about low battery warning?

In my opinion it should show up at 10% or 5% of power. It would be great if it differs from normal alerts (e.g. red frame).

At now I've only one alert... when is 1% of power (!)  - 'Do you want to switch to save mode? ' - it's way too late!!!!

EE2 with soft. 5.09

  • Using the Battery Level data field will allow you to keep an eye on the battery status.

  • The Connect IQ data field Battery Up Down reliably shows you how many hours and minutes you still have battery capacity.
It is really very reliable and recommended.
Unfortunately, it is not yet available for the new Edge Explore 2.
I have already written to the developer. If you or other users also ask the developer, he will surely soon make it usable for the Edge Explore 2.

Contact via the Battery Up Down page on the right side "Contact Developer".

  • Yes, i use it, but it's workaround not the soultion.

I think this is not a big problem for Garmin's developers to change the warning to appear not at 1% but at 5%.

    I guess is one line

I think that what is displayed at the moment is not a low battery warning but rather a shutdown warning.

I agree with you, of course, that as with the watches without problems could also set up here an extra low battery warning that appears at 5% or 10% before.

Although I have never needed it. On the large display is so much space for extra data fields. The battery level or consumption is always set up so that I always have this value in view.
