Explore 2 Physio TrueUp controls? / Intensity Minutes not syncing up correctly.

Hi all, I'm struggling to find the Physio TrueUp controls for the Explore 2, in GC or on the device. It's in the specs: www.garmin.com/.../802162

But I simply cannot find the PhysioTrueUp setting. It's in GC under General settings for my Fenix 6. Nowhere to be seen for the Explore 2.

It doesn't seem to be working, Here's Intensity minutes on the Explore 2, GC, and my Fenix 6, why is the Explore 2 so very wrong? All up to date, all synced, no other issues, just this.

Thanks!

  • My intensive minutes on the Fenix and in my GC-Account were 210 this morning and on the Edge 0.
After 26 minutes of cycling are the intensive minutes on the Fenix and in GC still 210 and on the Edge 25.

My weekly goal in GC I have changed to 200 but on my Edge is still 150 (GARMIN standard).

I think the Edge synchronizes only the recovery time with your watch and the intensive minutes are measured separately only for cycling. That would be so far okay for me.

A setting option for any weekly targets specifically for cycling or the explore 2 is not available (at the moment?) or it still does not synchronize with the settings in the GC profile.
Looks to me like a bug or a "little good" programming.

  • Thanks for the reply! I think it might be only counting intensity minutes from activities recorded on the edge. Those are added correctly to the total in GC, but wrong on the Explore 2. I've decided to return the Explore 2 - not quite what I hoped, and hadn't realised the stats were as limited as they are, I have grown used to having training effect / load / calories etc.. My Fenix 6 pro does it better, can't justify the Explore 2 just for navigation -  will go back to Komoot or something for that. It's a really nice unit, just not for me. Still can't find the Physio TrueUp control though!

  • I've decided to return the Explore 2

    Too bad but understandable.
There are really a lot of bugs and oddities at the moment with this device.

  • My Fenix 6 is really fine for now. Maybe will pick up a 1030+ when they inevitably go on sale. Shame about the buginess!

  • Have a problem with the synchronization of the recovery time.
Fenix 6 shows 26h and Edge shows 4h before sync.
    Afterwards both devices 4h!
This is really dangerous and insults to overtraining.
A really disappointing update and misaerable software!
