Can this unit connect to SRAM Etap sensors?

I had a look at the specs on the Garmin website, but can't tell from what's listed there whether I can get gear and battery level indications on the screen from the eTap gearing on a couple of my bikes, as I can on my old 1000.

I note that it only has 16Gb internal memory and no mention of being able to install a microSD card. The maps I routinely have on my 1000 (Velomap Europe and Australia with contour lines) occupy about 24Gb of the 32Gb microSD card I have in the unit.

I also wonder if it uses the same glacially slow altitude sensor as the 530/830/1030+/1040.

Thanks. I guess I won't be buying one then. I'll do a battery and power button replacement on my 1000 and continue using that.

Good luck with the battery. I've tried two different vendors for both an 800 and 1000 and they were both worse than the one I was replacing. I think to issue is that the replacements are old old stock that has deteriorated on the shelf. It sucks that Garmin isn't willing to offer quality replacement batteries since they are relatively easy to replace.
