Automatic upload to Strava

Hello

I want my Edge 850 to do an automatic upload to Strava of each outdoors cycling activity but NOT of the indoor activities. How can I do that? Now it uploads all activities.

    i remember it was a thing years ago also for livetrack and then i didn't find option to select whether indoor activities shall be synced or published on livetrack.

    I don't think that can be done. If I'm using a platform for indoor training I can run it and see my stats with its phone app, PC app or web. No need for an edge at all. The platform won't upload the activities to Strava, garmin connect or wherever unless I've set up those connections. That works for me using aTacx neo2t and rouvy or Tacx training. HR, cadence, power, speed, gradient etc etc are all shown on the phone or PC. If you really need an edge for your indoor setup, use your old one if you've upgraded to 850 and delete its sync setup. If you really need to use the same 850 you use for outdoor rides you'll need to keep doing what you probably do now - when Strava sends you a notification re your new activity, click on it and go ahead and delete that indoor activity. Takes a few seconds.
